Show the date history beside the quantity
Date tracking is more useful when a partial receipt does not disappear into a complete status. The scorecard pairs each date with quantity and leaves an unconfirmed balance visible.
The practical sequence is: retain the requested date, record each supplier promise, attach receipts to quantities, and show the balance that still needs a date. A transparent denominator keeps the result reviewable.
