Open-PO export template for a supplier follow-up pilot

Make the first data run boring

A first supplier follow-up pilot should answer one question: can the buyer identify open and late lines from a small export without granting a new system broad ERP access? The minimum fields here are deliberately plain: purchase-order number, supplier, line, promise date, and open quantity.

Click Validate sample rows to see a held row with an invalid date. Click Download CSV template to save the same fictional shape. The browser does not upload the file or store it on Helios servers.

Before a real run, agree on the date basis and redaction rules. FAR 11.401 treats delivery or performance time as an essential contract element, while the NIST Privacy Framework is a useful reminder to minimize the data shared. The internal Helios brief calls for CSV/Excel first, then a separately tested connector. A supplier portal instruction can show which release details matter; it cannot establish a Helios connector.

When the export is clean, map the ERP route, generate the request, and score the returned history.

Frequently asked questions

What are the minimum fields?

The sample uses PO number, supplier, line, unmodified supplier promise date, and open quantity. A production pilot should also agree on identifiers, revisions, receipt dates, partials, certificate flags, time zones, redaction, and retention.

Can I upload a real export here?

No. The validator is local and uses fictional rows. Keep real exports in your approved environment and review access, retention, and redaction before sharing them.
