Business Central supplier PO follow-up by location code

Keep the location code in the buyer view

Business Central-shaped exports can carry a location code that matters as much as the vendor name. The reply review board keeps that context with the open line and leaves relative dates for a human.

The practical sequence is: export the minimum fields, review the reply, mark uncertainty, and give the buyer one next action. A browser artifact can make that sequence visible without changing the ERP record.

Worked fictional example

The following is sample/fictional data for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central workflow. It is not a customer result or a live ERP record.

FieldExample
Document / locationBC-PO-6721 / MAIN (fictional)
ItemRM-18 cable gland
Open quantity300
Reply“100 Friday, remainder early next week”
Buyer actionAsk for calendar dates and verify the location before changing the plan

The browser artifact, Business Central vendor reply review board, gives this example a concrete review surface. It can show a parsed reply, draft an acknowledgment, calculate a date score, validate an export, or map a no-login route depending on the page. The artifact does not grant ERP access or silently change a promise date.

Evidence boundary

Public vendor and category documents describe procurement concepts and supplier-facing patterns. They do not prove that Helios has a live Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central connector. Any such connector is unverified. Keep the source export, review decision, and date change visible to the person who owns the PO.

Frequently asked questions

Does the board read Business Central?

No. It is a browser demo using fictional rows. Any Business Central or Helios connector is unverified.

What data should be real in a pilot?

Use an approved export and label every sample row. Agree on identifiers, date basis, partial-quantity rules, redaction, retention, and owner before sharing production data.
